Holding Corporation (CGNPC)
Established in September 1994 with a
registered capital of RMB 10, 2 billion, China Guangdong Nuclear
Power Holding Corporation (CGNPC) is a clean energy enterprise under
the supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and
Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). China
Guangdong Nuclear Power Group (CGN) is an extra-large scaled
state-owned corporate group constituted of the main body CGNPC and
more than twenty member companies. |

At present, CGNPC has possessed an
installed capacity of 5000MWe of operating nuclear generating units
at Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station (GNPS), Ling Ao Nuclear Power
Station Phase I (LNPS) and Phase II No.1. 19 nuclear power units
including the No.2 unit of Ling Ao Nuclear Power Station Phase II,
Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station Phase I in Liaoning Province, Ningde
Nuclear Power Station Phase I in Fujian, Yangjiang Nuclear Power
Station, Taishan Nuclear Power Station Phase I, Fangchenggang
Nuclear Power Station Phase I in Guangxi have already been approved
by the national government, among which 16 nuclear power units have
commenced construction. In additional to nuclear power generation,
CGN is actively involved in renewable energy generation and the
installed capacity of wind and solar power is among national’s top.
By the end of January 2011, the total asset of CGNPC has attained
RMB 202.5 billion.
Since the establishment of its first
representative office in Paris in 1986, CGNPC has set up seven
representative offices located in Europe, South Africa, Kazakhstan,
Vietnam, Thailand and Australia. The group actively embraces the
overseas market and promotes the internationalization of its
business services.
